The Story of Draken
The Team
A couple of months ago, two friends discovered the power of Web3 and how it has helped so many people out. They were fascinated by projects like Axie Infinity, 0n1-Force or Cool Cats and their kind communities. Inspired by the seemingly limitless potential of Web3 technology, the two friends gathered a team of capable artists and developers and collectively conceptualized Draken: A project that aims to inspire people all over the world, whether they’re creators, traditional businesses venturing into the metaverse, art collectors, or just in it for the ride!
The Lore
Draken is a story-driven NFT project named after its central character: A lone warrior in the wide metaverse, venturing into different worlds to learn their culture and way of life. Doing so, he gains the ability to craft weapons and armor for the strongest warriors in the Seven Realms.
The world is in dire need of his craftsmanship: After Ashura from the Kurayami realm had awoken, known to cause destruction everywhere he sets his foot in, the Seven Realms were thrust into war and damnation. Draken fought but ultimately failed, grasping for his life yet losing his arm.
Fast forward a couple of years, Ashura’s rule is still unbroken. However, Draken has found a way to secretly travel all the Seven Realms, recruiting warriors from the different regions. These brave men and women call themselves Rifters. With technology from the Onyx Realm, Draken was able to replace his arm which gave him the ability to craft again.
Now, the time to fight back, restore peace and unleash the full potential of the metaverse has come. Are you ready for this?

Draken is a project that aims to provide a safe place and community for people all over the world to experience the beauty of NFTs and to push the boundaries of Web3 technology.

The Roadmap
Manga — One of our goals is to build a story revolving around the NFT Space. While we have our main lore, Draken will meet new friends from different communities all around the NFT space. The manga documents the history of our shared learnings and collaborations in Web3, immortalizing the stories we experience together.
Merchandise — We will provide our fans with quality merchandise. Some collections may have exclusive pieces for holders, while others would be available to everyone in the Draken ecosystem.
Metaverse — The metaverse is our most exciting project. While we are currently focusing on community building, quality art and a seamless mint, we have already sketched out plans for this. These involve the release of a small game, allowing our holders to earn token with future utility in our ecosystem. Also: Not to give away too much, but what would a warrior be without a loyal companion…?

How is this a “New Beginning”?
A few days ago, we were supposed to start minting on the project. However, a community member voiced their thoughts regarding the growth of Draken. After listening to our community, we decided to push a vote and subsequently postponed.
To be honest with you: We are glad this happened. This event has initiated phase two of Draken. It marks the day Draken has turned into a completely community-driven project. With the help of some of our most active members, we will push to continually deliver the best of what Draken has to offer
